We designed the identity and promotional materials for the 2007 Young Collectors Event held at the highly recognized Art Basel in Switzerland. The topic "Miami Beach" was depicted through high contrast black and white images of palm leaves; turning a simple object into a beautiful and highly energetic piece on the page. By overlaying the images with patterns we further emphasized the mysterious and fantastic far away world that Miami is to Basel. We used our own uomo-designed typeface "Velvetique" for the headlines and titles.
