Velvetique is a 1920s Art Deco inspired typeface. Its appearance is as elegant and sophisticated as it is quirky: the letter shapes are completely geometric and not optically corrected, which gives it that special not-quite-right-looking feel that typefaces throughout the roaring twenties were known for.
