ENGLISH FOR ART & DESIGN
The Ontario College of Art & Design in downtown Toronto resides in a funny looking box. It has black squares all over its white exterior and sits on a colourful set of stilts. Look it up online if you don’t believe us. We were commissioned to design a handy brochure intended for new & prospective students with English as their second language. The brochure describes a special ESL course they can enroll in at OCAD. Since the brochure is in English, we chose to highlight the most important words and sentences in each paragraph helping the reader to understand the context rather than having to translate every word.
